What is BBM Fan Fiction?
+++ BBM (Brokeback Mountain) Fan Fiction is a community in which fans come to share their fictional work of any kind.  It can be poems, cartoons, fictional pieces, etc.  We earn no profit when it comes to using our imagination other than the pure joy of making a world that doesn't exist our own.
+++ Fiction associated with the actors of this film are also allowed, you must make it clear that it is a reality fic, however.
 
Disclaimer:
For Brokeback Fiction:
+++ Characters such as Jack Twist, Ennis Del Mar, Alma Beers, Lureen Newsome, and any other characters that are original characters in the short story Brokeback Mountain by Annie Proulx do not belong to any of the authors here but to Annie Proulx.

For Reality Fiction:
+++ All events that take place in this fic do not reflect the real lives the actual people portray.  This is a work of fiction and it must be recognized that the events that do take place are out of pure make beliefe and have been imagined.
 
Becoming a member:
+++ To become a member simply join the community.  You are free to post your fictional pieces and comment on others.  There is no flaming allowed -- its just not nice!  However, if c/c (comments and critiscm) is requested-- well then, there you go.
 
Procedure:
1. No flaming!
2. No plagerising!
2a. You must include a disclaimer any time you post a piece of fiction.  You are welcome to use one of the two provided above however in some form one must be mentioned.
2b. ALL works you post MUST belong to you.  You are not to post ANYONE else's pieces but you're own.  If you are caught this will be considered plagerism and you will be banned from the group even if you clearly state the fic is not yours.  That is still a no-no.
3. You are welcome to comment however make it relevent to the author's post.  Do not waste their time with a simple 'I love you icon!!!!one!oin1'.  Its annoying.
4. When posting, you must make all posts 'friends only'.  This option can be found toward the bottom of your post before you submit it.  If you do not post friends only, you will be asked to and if you fail to comply your post will be deleted with no warning.
5. No links please.  If you're going to post copy and paste it into a post, do not link to stories. 
6. Do not post an entire fic in one post.  Limit yourself to a chapter.  People don't want to sit and read a fifteen chapter long fic in one sitting.  Cliff hangers are a good thing, it keeps people coming back.
7. Your fics should be edited and incorrect grammar and spelling errors (unless it is clear that it is supposed to be that way) should not be obvious.  You do not have to have a BETA reader however I'm sure if you request one someone will be more than willing to help you out!
8. When posting a piece of work you must provide the following information:
Author:
Title:
Genre:
Rating:
Summary:
Disclaimer:
Chapter/s:
9. All fics, regardless of length, must be put under an LJ cut.
 
What You Might Find Here:
1. Fan Fiction : fictional work that is not limited to any number of chapters or length.  It usually includes a plot or can often be written as a 'one shot' and takes traits of one or more genres.

3. Lyrics
4. Weekly Writing Challenges : Plot bunnies, Challenges, Trigger Quotes/Themes, Visual Insperation

Would my angstlove community, Angst Sluts Anonymous be appropriate for an affiliate? It isn't BBM specific, but there's definitely room for BBM fanfiction or art there.

Post it just like you'd make an entry in a regular journal however it is prefered that you use an LJ cut for the actual body of the fic. You also have to be a member of the group since it is friends only. Let me know if you need any further help :)
